Entrance exams for Police Academy, National Defense University held

KABUL: The entrance exam for the Police Academy and National Defense University was held on Tuesday with the participation of 2,254 candidates at the Kabul Polytechnic University, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported Tuesday.
Shaikh Rahimullah Haqqani, deputy of the National Examinations Administration, as quoted by the agency said: “The Islamic Emirate is committed to the professionalization of the security and defense forces, and the security forces have a duty to bring security to the nation and prevent criminal activities.”
Haqqani assured that the National Examination Authority NEXA is committed to holding a transparent and fair exam process, according to the source. Head of the National Defense University, Mawlavi Abdul Qaum Elyas said that among the candidates, those who pass the exam with good scores will be recruited to the National Defense University. “2,200 volunteers have participated in the police academy exam, and only 200 will be recruited after passing the exam, the agency quoted head of the police academy, Hazrat Mohammad Mahmood, as saying.
The candidates are all school graduates from Kabul and other provinces of the country, he said.
