Electronic Governance Center Inaugurated

KABUL: Electronic Governance Center inaugurated in the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology on Tuesday, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported.
During the inauguration ceremony, the minister of telecommunications and information technology Shahzad Aryoubi said the center opened to improve and ease the way of services, the agency further said.
According to him, facilitation of public services’ process is one of the electronic services’ goals.
Calling electronic services effective to accelerate public services’ process, the ministry’s spokesperson SayerZaland said electronic identity cards and passport services were done electronically and Kabul Traffic is expected to be equipped with these services in near future.
He added all government administrations would be equipped with electronic tools until the next three years.
The ministry’s head of electronic services department stated that the center would be the country’s specific address for electronic services.
