Eight water supply projects inaugurated in Takhar

KABUL: Eight water supply networks worth 47 million Afghanis (some 658,163 US dollars) have been inaugurated in Takhar province, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement the other day. The water supply networks were implemented in Warsaj, Rustaq, Farkhar, Chal and Khaja Bahauddin districts and Taliqan capital of Takhar province, according to the statement. The projects were funded by the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), and safe drinking water was provided to nearly 3,000 families in Takhar province. The Kabul Times
