In ceremonies held on this occasion on Friday in the country’s 34 provinces including Kabul, the capital, officials of the Islamic Emirate after performing Eid-ul-Fitr prayer read out the message of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Supreme Leader and congratulated Eid days to the people. Meanwhile, the IEA officials in their speeches at Eid prayer ceremony asked the people to support the Islamic Emirate and stand against those disrupting the country’s security and stability. They considered the role of the people in the consolidation and strengthening of the Islamic system, asking for the people’s support in this regard. The IEA officials also assured the people of maintaining the overall security and rights of the country’s citizens, asking the people for cooperation in this regard. It is the first time Eid prayer has been offered in a peaceful and brotherhood environment in all provinces of the country. A number of Kabul residents by expressing happiness about better security measures during the Eid days praised the IEA security forces for maintaining better security in the country. “We are very happy as we see security checkpoints in most parts of Kabul city and are working to provide a better security environment for the citizens to celebrate happy days of Eid-ul-Fitr,” said Ali Ahmad, a Kabul resident. He hopes that a better security environment will finally help the country reach lasting peace and stability. He also asked the people for close cooperation with the IEA security forces so that all the people live in a peaceful environment. It is worth mentioning that Eid is the day of happiness and unity on which Muslims get the chance to celebrate the praises of their Lord, see each other, heal any rifts between them, and show kindness to one another. Muslims are commanded to celebrate their unity and cooperation in the broadest terms because this will indirectly attract non-Muslims towards Islam and remove the stains of hatred and malice from their fellow brothers and sisters.
