Dr. Abdullah praises Sirat-ul-Nabi competition winners

KABUL: Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah speaking in a ceremony held to commend the Sirat-ul-Nabi competition winners thanked the participants of the meeting and said the students interested in the Sirat of the Holy Prophet of Islam should correctly know him and understand how to follow his paths.
He blamed some certain groups without naming that they were misusing the religion in various pretexts.
“Today, in our society, incorrect uses are being made in the name of Islam, violence are being in the name of religion, women are being violated and their rights are ignored in the name of religion. Our religion and the teachings of the Holy Prophet will not tolerate a society in which violence has rooted,” said the CE.
Pointing to the morality and way of life of the Holy Prophet, Dr. Abdullah said those who want to be his followers should recognize him and his characteristics well.
“Today opposition groups are committing crimes and murder and have no determination for peace,” Dr. Abdullah added.
Other speakers of the meeting also condemned violence and murder in any mean and said those still continuing war were against Islam and the Sira of the Holy Prophet.
