Dozens of uplift projects completed in Panjshir

BAZARAK: Thirty-eight development projects worth 73 million Afghani (993,497 U.S. dollars) have been completed in the country’s northeastern province of Panjshir, the provincial Governor’s press office said in a statement on Saturday. During the inauguration ceremony, the provincial Governor Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim said that the projects with the financial support of the World Development Bank (WDB) have been implemented in various parts of the province, the statement said. Assuring the IEA’s commitment to the implementation of development projects in Panjshir, Hafiz Agha Hakim said that the Islamic Emirate welcomes every donor and charitable institution that is interested in implementing reconstruction projects in Panjshir province, according to the statement. Meanwhile, the Head of the provincial Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department Mawlavi Shir Ali Mawzoon said that the projects including water supply, agriculture, transportation, construction and social assistance, with the financial support of the WDB, have been implemented under Afghanistan’s Social Support and Livelihood Program.
