FAIZABAD: A total of 90 policewomen have rejoined their offices after more than one year, in the country’s northern province of Badakhshan, a senior officer of the provincial police department, Mohammad Noor said Sunday.
“Ninety women including 70 female troops and 20 female officers, who have been in hidden after the Islamic Emirate return, have recently joined their jobs and started their works within the provincial police command,” Noor said.
According to him, the provincial police department invited all policewomen to return their offices in the province.
He said the rejoined policewomen would enjoy payments as much as the policemen enjoy.
The Islamic Emirate has invited women working within security forces, particularly policewomen, to return to their jobs as they are most needed in investigation of women and house searches, in case of any criminal activities.
