Dozens of foreign tourists visited historical sites of Ghazni in past month

GHAZNI: As many as 77 foreign tourists have visited the historical sites of the coun try’s central province of Ghazni in the past month, the provincial Information and Culture Department said in a statement Monday. Director of the provincial information and culture department Mullah Hamedullah Nesar said 77 tourists including women from America, Canada, Brazil, China, Russia, Pakistan, Iran, India and some other European countries have visited the historical sites and natural attractions of the province in the past month of the current solar year, according to the statement. “Officials of the tourism department and Afghan Tour Company have accompanied the tourists and shared necessary information about the historical sites of the province,” the statement quoted Mullah Nesar as saying. After the resumption of power by the Islamic Emirate the number of foreign tourists visiting the country’s historical sites and natural attractions has been on the rise compared to the previous governments.
