Dozens of cadets join national police after training in Nangarhar

JALALABAD: A total of 430 newly graduated cadets have joined the country’s national police after completing a two-month training course in the country’s eastern Nangarhar province, Qari Basharmal Bashardost, National Police Academy commander in the east, said Saturday “After receiving certificates during a ceremony, the police cadets vowed to serve the people and tighten their security everywhere in the country,” Bashardost said. The graduated policemen would be deployed for ensuring security and order in the country’s eastern zone, according to the commander. According to the Islamic Emirate’s Interior Ministry, some 200,000-member police force have so far been formed to ensure law and order in the country. The Kabul Times
