Discrimination not allowed to undermine Afghans, Mawlavi Kabir

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir said that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) as a common home of all Afghans will not allow any discriminatory behavior in the country. Mawlavi Kabir made the remarks in a meeting with a number of the country’s Shiite scholars, elders and representatives, Arg said in a statement the other day. Praising the efforts of the deputy PM in uniting the people and solving their problems, the Shitte scholars said that the strengthening of the current Islamic system is the main responsibility of every Afghan and asked everyone to have necessary cooperation in the field, according to the statement. They also shared recommendations and problems and assured their full support to the Islamic Emirate, as well as asked the leadership of the current Islamic system to pay necessary attention in the implementation of development projects in the western area of the capital Kabul city, the statement said. The deputy PM Mawlavi Kabir said that IEA as a common home of all Afghans, will not allow any discriminatory treatment and asked all Afghans to jointly work towards the country’s development and prosperity. Mawlavi Kabir assured the Shiite elders that their proposals and recommendations would be addressed with the available resources. Based on another report, deputy PM Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, in a meeting with Alhaj Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim, the Governor of Panjshir province, said that the current system with its Islamic solutions and policy is committed to implementing the development projects in a balanced and uniform manner countrywide. Governor Agha Hakim shared information about the social and economic situation and assured overall security and in the province. Mawlavi Kabir appreciated the governor’s tireless efforts in ensuring overall security and paving a safe and brotherhood environment among Panjshirians and assured the challenges facing the people in the fields of economic development, employment and development of construction projects, will be addressed at various levels.
