Development of the country top priority, Mullah Beradar

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund, during a visit to the country’s eastern province of Nangarhar, said the Islamic Emirate is committed to foster Afghanistan’s development and industrialization. Mullah Beradar made the remarks, in a gathering of Ulamas, tribal leaders, businessmen, and provincial officials, his office said in a statement Wednesday. Addressing the gathering, Mullah Beradar announced the Islamic Emirate was focusing on the construction of the second line of the Kabul-Jalalabad highway to boost trade and transit in the country, according to the statement. “To start construction of the second line of the KabulJalalabad highway, a plan has been provided by the Ministry of Public Works and set to present the plan to honorable Amir-ul-Mumineen Shaikh Hibatullah Akhundzada for approval,” the statement quoted Mullah Beradar as saying. Also, the Deputy PM shared plans to decrease customs tariffs on talc exports, aiming to support traders in Nangarhar. Highlighting the Islamic Emirate’s effective resolution of issues faced by returning refugees, achieved through well-coordinated efforts with relevant organizations and national businessmen, Mullah Beradar assured that all returnees will be provided with essential services countrywide.
