KABUL: The Deputy Political Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir met with a number of former parliamentarians recently returned home, a statement from his office said the other day.
In the meeting, which was attended by Shaikh Shahabuddin Delawar, head of the Contact Commission with the Afghan Personalities, this was noted that Afghanistan was the common home of the Afghans and together should construct it, the statement said.
“Our effort is that no Afghan should remain out of the country and all of them should return home.
Former government officials are our brothers and will be treated kindly in the light of general amnesty of Amir ul-Muminin and their problems would be met,” said the statement quoting the deputy political prime Minister.
Protection and support of the current system is the responsibility of the entire Afghans, Mawlavi Kabir noted.
The returning former members of parliament spoke about the current situation and expressed pleasure of the wide security and well behavior of the leaders and other members of the Islamic Emirate. Scores of former government officials, including ministers and house members have recently returned home following the efforts of the contact commission lead by Shaikh Shahabuddin Delawar.
