Deputy PM meets religious scholars of Ghazni

KABUL: Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan for Political Affairs, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir met with a number of religious scholars of Ghazni the other day, his office said in a statement.
In the meeting, the religious scholars shared their suggestions regarding the strengthening of the Islamic Emirate’s relevant institutions.
“Scholars have the status of a bridge between the government and the nation and play a key role in strengthening the Islamic system,” the statement quoted scholars as saying.
They also suggested that religious rules and the religion priorities should be considered by the country’s media.
The scholars pointed out that they were ready to make any sacrifice for the continuation and consolidation of the Islamic system.
Deputy Prime Minister Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, while thanking them, said that as a result of jihad and religious guidance of scholars, today Afghanistan has an Islamic system.
The deputy prime minister added that for the stability of the Islamic system and the satisfaction of the people, the advice and suggestions of the scholars are vital and they are used for the reconstruction and implementation of Islamic rules.
