Deputy PM Mawlavi Kabir urges world for lifting restrictions on IEA officials

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate for Political Affairs, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir urged the world body for lifting sanctions on the IEA officials and recognizing the Islamic system, a statement from his office said the other day. In a meeting with the UN Secretary General’s Special Representative Roza Otunbayeva, here in Kabul, the deputy Prime Minister said that the Islamic Emirate had met all conditions for international recognition and desired active engagement with the world at large.He urged the world body for lifting travel sanctions on the IEA officials and added the Islamic Emirate believed in dialogue and an inclusive system. The UN diplomat, meanwhile, promised that the UN would continue to deliver aid to Afghanistan and that the UN mission has underlined the need for resolving Afghanistan’s problems through dialogue and offering help in thisregard.
