Daesh mine-making plant discovered in Jawzjan

KABUL: The Islamic Emirate security forces have discovered a mine-making plant belonging to Daesh outfit in the country’s northern province of Jawzjan, police said Monday. Qari Shah Mohammad Ahmadi provincial police chief of Jawzjan said that as a result of a joint operation a mine-making factory was discovered in Sakhi Abad village of Sheberghan, the provincial capital city. According to him, from the hideout, a suicide vest, two sticky mines, a number of grenades, a camera and some other materials which is used for making improvised explosives and a Corolla type car, have also been seized. No one has so far been in connection with the mine-making plant, but the official assured that efforts had been underway to identify the owners of the factory.
