Daesh intelligence, military leaders killed in Kabul, Mujahid

KABUL: Two members of the Daesh branch of Khurasan have been killed in an overnight operation in Khairkhana vicinity north of the Kabul city, on Monday, spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, Zabihullah Mujahid said the other day.
An attack by the country’s security forces happened on a hideout of the Daesh militants, resulting in the death of two of the outfit’s leaders, including Qari Fateh, who earlier served as Amir-al-Harb (military leader) for the rebels’ Khurasan branch in Shahrak-e-Zakireen area of Khairkhana, PD 017 of the capital Kabul, Mujahid said on his official Twitter account.
Fateh, since then, became head of the eastern zone of Kunar and currently, he was the intelligence and operations commander for the IS-K who was directly masterminded recent destructive operations on diplomatic missions, mosques and other areas in Kabul, Mujahid wrote on his twitter handle.
Earlier the Islamic Emirate Special Forces during an operation killed head of the Khawarij for the Indian subcontinent, known as Ejaz Amin Ahangar, along with two other people, the spokesman said.
In recent days, a number of Khawarij, including foreign nationals, have been arrested by IEA security forces in some parts of the country, including Kabul. The Kabul Times
