Country’s exports, imports surpassed 386,649 tons in a month

KABUL: A rough amount of 386,649 tons of commodities have been traded via the country’s railways in the past month, the Afghanistan Railway Authority(ARA) said in a statement Wednesday. Around 295,241 metric tons of exports and imports have been made via HairatanMazar-e-Sharif railway, 73,972 metric tons of commodities have been made via the Torghundi railway and the rest have been made via the Aqina and Khawaf railways, the statement said. The Afghanistan Railway Authority is making efforts to provide traders with the necessary facilities and resolve the challenges facing them. The Kabul Times
