Costing $200,000 Bakhshabad flour factory inaugurated in Farah

FARAH: The Bakhshabad Flour Factory worth 200,000 U.S. dollars has been inaugurated in the country’s western province of Farah, the provincial Industry and Commerce Department said in a statement the other day. The factory will produce 40 tons of flour per day and provide job opportunities for dozens of people, the statement said, adding the factory’s prod ucts, catering not only to the markets of Farah province but also to Kandahar and Ghazni, contribute to the supply chain of flour in the provinces. The establishment of the Bakhshabad Flour Factory shows a significant investment in the local economy and aims to meet the demand for quality flour in multiple provinces. The Kabul Times
