Construction work on two development projects kicked off in Kandahar

KANDAHAR: Construction work on two uplift projects worth 46 million Afghani (some 634,583 U.S. dollars) has been started in the country’s southern province of Kandahar, the provincial Municipality said in a statement the other day. The projects include the construction of a road and improving the water network will be implemented in the Spin Boldak district of the province, the statement said. The water supply project involves the construction of an extensive network to ensure a clean water supply for the residents, aiming to address the needs of the community and improve access to safe drinking water.
