Construction work on 2 roads completed in Kabul, municipality

KABUL: Construction work on two sub-roads worth 8 million Afghani (some 112,040 U.S. dollars) has been completed in the 12th district of the capital Kabul, the Kabul Municipality said in a statement on Wednesday. Addressing a ceremony which was held on this occasion, Eng. Mir Rahman, the head of the Plans and Projects, said the roads with a length of 750 meters and width of 5 meters, have been implemented by the Kabul Municipality in cooperation with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), in Ahmad Shah Mena of the 12th municipality district, according to the statement. Asking the residents to pay serious attention in maintaining of the roads, Eng. Rahman said with the implementation of the projects, the challenges facing the residents would be solved.
