Concerns about save the children report on food crisis in Afghanistan

In Afghanistan, some child rights activists have expressed concern over the Save the Children’s report that Afghan children are in the worst economic crisis today, saying that children should be rescued. Some of them have said that international organizations should pay serious attention to rescue the children in Afghanistan.
Child rights activists say farmers whose farms are facing serious drought need to be need to be provided irrigation facilities so that their children grow up and survive the economic crisis.
They believe that unless there are appropriate solutions to improve the economic situation of the people, such crises and this situation can have very negative effects on the short-term and long-term situation of children in Afghanistan.
An expert on economic issues says that in order to prevent drought, the country’s waters must be managed.
“If the drought continues, it could affect the Afghan people, particularly the children, so I think the Afghan government should work to address the problem of water scarcity in Afghanistan by managing water and building irrigation networks.”
Following the publication of this report by Save the Children, the Prime Minister ordered the relevant organs to prevent all this unrest, especially control beggars in the cities, and find the reason behind their begging.
Poverty and other miseries have forced large numbers of people who had access to agriculture and livestock in their provinces and can no longer work on their land due to drought to come to the cities and make a living.
There are a number of these concerns not only among government officials but also among the majority of Afghan citizens, and every day the economic crisis, as one of the major challenges of their lives, has dragged them to the brink of extinction.
Continuing global concerns about the poor economic situation in Afghanistan, Save the Children says Afghanistan is experiencing the worst food crisis where more than 5 million children in the country are on the brink of starvation. According to the organization, two out of every three children in Afghanistan do not eat enough.
The organization adds that in the current situation, the lives of 12 million children in Afghanistan depend on agriculture, but their families face many economic challenges due to the drought.
“Humanitarian aid can reduce urgent needs, but it cannot boost the economy,” said Christopher Nyamandi, director of Save the Children Fund. Until we deal with the economic crisis, and given that a large part of the country is on the brink of famine, families will have no choice but to take disappointing steps such as selling their children or sending them to work.
The report also says that the negative effects of climate change are increasing and the planet is getting warmer with each passing day, where Afghanistan is also experiencing severe climate change.
Economic experts also emphasize that the government of the Islamic Emirate, in cooperation with aid organizations, can save the people of Afghanistan from this crisis and use the opportunities to facilitate the resumption of agriculture for farmers.
I spoke to several of those people, most of whom came to Kabul from the drought-stricken provinces saying that they are here to win bread for their families. It is worth mentioning that the people of Afghanistan have been exposed to drought for several years now, and in some provinces, a number of people have left their places and gone abroad due to the economic crisis.

Afghans know about their situation more than these NGO’s. why didn’t the water situation brought up by save the children to the previous corrupt and immoral government of Karzai , Abdullah and Ghani? Because save the childern is also corrupt!!!

The sooner these NGO’s are out of Afghanistan the better.
