Commission tasked to provide job, shelter for newly returnees

KABUL: The 13th cabinet meeting of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) was held with Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund on the chair, discussing returnees’ issues, Arg said in a statement the other day. The meeting has tasked the High Commission of Immigrants to take serious measures in order to create jobs, and address the problems of recently returned immigrants across the country, the statement said. Under the chairmanship of Abdul Karim Fateh, the Deputy Technical Minister of Public Works and with the membership of representatives of Kabul Municipality, the Ministries of Transport and Civil Aviation, Rural Development, Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, and Urban Development and Housing, a delegation has been entrusted to determine the boundaries and size of highways and main and subroads in all provinces of the country. The meeting also tasked the ministry of public works to address the problems of freight vehicles on the Salang highway and to find a suitable solution in the ground. The Kabul Time
