“KABUL: The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has established a commission to facilitate the return of Afghan personalities who left the country, following political changes, last year, an official source said the other day.“ “As per the decision of the cabinet of the IEA, a seven-member commission, led by Shahabuddin Delawar, acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum and consisted of some of government high-ranking officials has been established to pave the way for the Afghan politicians returning home,” said a statement received by The Kabul Times from the Administrative Office of the Prime Minister.“Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, acting Foreign Minister, Mawlavi Khairullah Khairkhwa acting Information and Culture Minister, Fasihuddin Fetrat Chief of Army Staff of the Islamic Emirate are among the members of the commission, according to the statement.“
“The commission will continue its activities based on a plan, expected to be formed soon,” Bilal Karimi, deputy spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, also twitted.“ Welcoming the move by the Taliban, The EU Ambassador von Brandt, on his twitter called the move part of a broader approach towards more legitimacy of a future government and inclusion of all segment s of Afghan society.
