KABUL: The cabinet meeting of the Islamic Emirate was held with Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund on the chair, a statement from Arg said the other day.
The meeting resolved that the appointed committee should carefully review the joint counter drug procedure and after clarifying their Sharia aspects, a report should be submitted to the Prime Minister office.
A delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister on administrative affairs Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, included high-ranking officials of the Ministries of National Defense, Finance, Interior and the General Directorate of Administrative office, was assigned to review the activities of the state-owned slaughterhouse and the procurement of meat for the defense and security organs and share their report to the prime minister, according to the statement.
The Economic Commission has been said to review the issues of establishing a fund to support the growth of private sector, the proposed plan to provide facilities during the export process, and the procedure for the production of tomato paste and tomato planting by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and to submit the report to next cabinet meeting for further discussion.
In the cabinet a committee under the chairmanship of Shaikh Al-Hadith Noorul Haq Anwar General Director of the Administrative office was assigned to review the loans of all canceled departments in detail, as well as the report of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum regarding the Amu Darya oil field and its demand regarding re-contracting of the area has been confirmed and that the ministry has to take the necessary measures in this regard.
