KABUL: The cabinet of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has banned the PUBG game and Tiktok app in the country. The cabinet meeting has ordered the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MoCIT) to exercise ban on Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) game and the Tiktok app.
Inamullah Samangani, deputy spokesman of the IEA, in a tweet the other day said that the cabinet has directed MCIT to ban the two mobile apps in the country.
He said that the respective ministry was also directed to ban channels that aired immoral materials and programs.
It is worth mentioning that Tiktok is a social networking application that allows users to post 15-second video clips, while PUBG is a mobile phone game played by 99 players at a time on a map, anyone survives the battle in a map is the winner.
