Cabinet holds session

KABUL: Chaired by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, the cabinet held session the other day, the Presidential Palace said in a statement.
At the outset, flaying the recent Kabul terrorist attack which resulted in martyrdom and injuring a number of our religious ulama and some others, the president prayed for souls of those martyred and asked great patience to their remaining and immediate recovery to those injured, according to the statement.
The president asked ulama that under Islamic values, condemn this hateful attack and explain the obscenity of such un-Islamic acts.
Stressing on reforms in security and civil entities, the president tasked the ministry of hajj and religious affairs that in consider with religious ulama’s views and in cooperation with the interior ministry to arrange a security plan for mosques and put it into practice.
Afterwards, the acting minister of finance presented the draft to nullify Shir Khan Port’s enterprise that was approved by the cabinet.
Acting finance minister and head of ATRA administration, presented the draft to receive the telecommunication companies debts and performances on fining them because of services’ quality of 2011 to 2017 year that was approved by the meeting.
Acting minister of finance also presented his ministry’s suggestions on defect and increase in 1397’s budget that was okayed by the cabinet.
At the end, the cabinet amended its item 11, resolution no. 13, dated 1397/08/02 and according to the presidential decree, it approved establishment of an International Islamic University in Nangarhar province and the relevant organs were tasked to begin its administrative processes.
