Budget to be allocated for strengthening private madrassas, Prime Minister

KABUL: Acting Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Abdul Kabir meet with a number of teachers and officials of various madrassas in Kabul the capital, PM office said in a statement the other day. In the meeting, the aforementioned scholars said that there have been positive changes in the activities of religious schools (Madrassas) in Kabul, and in addition to the complete religious curriculum, modern teachings have also been started for the students. They also shared their suggestions regarding the improvement of the Madrassas’ affairs with the Prime Minister, according to the statement. “The Islamic Emirate will allocate budget for strengthening private madrassas in addition to public madrassas,” the statement quoted the acting PM as saying. Mawlavi Kabir asked all private schools to implement their curriculum in coordination with the Ministry of Education. The Kabul Times
