KABUL: At least three people were killed and three others wounded in the latest blast that happened in the country’s capital Kabul, Interior Ministry confirmed Wednesday. “A corolla-type car packed with explosives was blown up about noon yesterday, near the Police District 17, killing three people and wounding three others,” Abdul Nafi Takur, the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior wrote on his official Twitter account.
Security forces arrived at the scene and started investigation, said the spokesman.
The blast comes hours after the Islamic Emirate marked August 31, the last U.S. soldiers’ withdrawal from Afghanistan. The Kabul Times
