Bagram jail documentary exhibited

KABUL: The first documentary film of Bagram Jail, which was produced by the Afghan Film Directorate, was shown the other day.
In a ceremony held on the occasion, Mawlavi Atiqullah Azizi, Deputy Minister of Culture and Art of the Ministry of Information and Culture, said: “Afghan Film’s efforts in preparing this documentary film are appreciable.”
He said that in Bagram prison, Mujahideen were tortured by the occupying American forces without any crime and all their rights were violated by them, which is an example of their torture documented in the film.
He said that Mujahideen have been subject to torture and crimes not only in Bagram prison, but also in the jail of former National Directorate of Security (NDS), Pol-e-Charkhi, Guantanamo and other prisons by the U.S. occupying and the former government forces. He called the bombing another crime of the Americans and said that they bombed children, funeral ceremonies and other places, which is also one of their crimes and they had created terror in Afghanistan in twenty years.
