LASHKARGAH: Trafficking of large amounts of Iron to the neighboring Pakistan has been thwarted in the country’s southern province of Helmand, the provincial police office said in a statement the other day. The provincial police spokesman Ezatullah Haqqani said that the police personnel arrested two people on charges of trafficking the Iron to Pakistan in Garmsir district, according to the statement. Previously, the provincial police personnel have also prevented the smuggling of iron, copper, livestock and wood to the neighboring countries, the statement said. The Kabul Times
