• Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghan- istan on political affairs Maw- lavi Abdul Kabir, in a meeting with Nuristan deputy gover- nor urged provincial officials to do more for improvement of the province.
• Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghan- istan on administrative affairs Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi visited Naderia and Gholam Haidar Khan High Schools and heard the problems and suggestions of the teachers and students.
• Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghan- istan met with the UN special representative for Afghani- stan, Deborah Lyons. In the meeting, the two sides dis- cussed appropriate coordina- tion and transparency in hu- manitarian assistance to Af- ghanistan.
• Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghan- istan chaired political commis- sion meeting, asking the rele- vant organs to provide ground for returning Afghan personalities to the country. Also decisions were made on cultural activities and human- itarian assistance.
• Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghan- istan, on political affairs Maw- lavi Abdul Kabir met with the UN special representative for Afghanistan, Deborah Lyons.
In the meeting, Deborah Lyons, assured of the inter- national community’s good- will towards Afghanistan and said that efforts are underway to release the Afghan assets.
• The administrative com- mission was held with Depu- ty Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Maw- lavi Abdul Salam Hanafi on the chair.
In the meeting decision was made for printing E-Iden- tity cards with the IEA logo and new format.
• Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghan- istan Mawlavi Abdul Ghani Baradar presided over the special economic meeting. The meeting discussed pro- ducing electricity by using coal for extraction of mines.
