KABUL: Officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan say any political movement created outside of the country is not in the interests of Afghanistan and its people.
“Any political movement or parties being created outside of the country are not in the interest of Afghanistan,” said Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate.
Briefing related to achievements of his recent visit to Turkiye, Mujahid said during his visit to Turkiye, he tried to explain the real situation of the country and provide information regarding the structure of the incumbent government.
He said talks were held with leaders of the Islamic political parties in Turkiye, influential personalities, Turkish and foreign businesspersons, industrialists and owners of big companies, adding that they were told that Afghanistan was secure and they could invest without any hesitation. He said during the visit to Turkiye, talks were also held with media representatives and they were invited to visit Afghanistan and observe the situation closely.
By pointing to maintaining diplomatic relations with the world countries including Turkiye, Mujahid said that relationship of a number of countries with the Islamic Emirate government was formal and bilateral relations between the IEA and regional countries including Turkiye were going ahead as a number of countries maintained bilateral and cordial ties with the IEA.
It is worth mentioning that Zabihullah Mujahid, the IEA spokesperson, paid a visit to Turkiye 20 days ago to participate in a meeting of the Islamic Ulema Union Conference and met with the country’s officials and businessmen and key figures of some political parties.
