Any occupiers must learn from humiliating defeat of empires in Afghanistan

Afghanistan, due to its geographical location, has faced invasions, aggressions, and occupations by global powers in various historical periods. However, the resilient and freedom-loving people of this resilient region, relying on Allah Almighty and the strong arms of their courageous youth, have defiantly expelled invaders from their land, achieving freedom and independence. It is worth noting that some of the invaders, after their humiliating defeat by the Afghan people, have expressed remorse and regret in some way, accepting their failure, while others, instead of acknowledging their defeat and expressing remorse, resort to unethical and inhumane methods. They engage in thousands of conspiracies and schemes to seek revenge on the Afghan people. Some employ intelligence maneuvers and false narratives, attempting to sow distrust among the citizens of this land. By contaminating the water, they aim to catch the desired fish. Although today, especially those who have experienced their humiliating defeat in Afghanistan, understand that the invasion and aggression against Afghanistan may seem simple, maintaining governance and control over this land is a task that no invader has accomplished to date. Not only have they failed to achieve military and political success, but they have also lost their political and military prestige and position in the world. Suppose we scrutinize the invasions and aggressions by expansionist and ambitious powers in Afghanistan. In that case, the military campaigns of hostile and invading countries against Afghanistan have had no legal and international justification or legitimacy. For example, the United States and its allies, under baseless and hollow pretexts, launched a full-scale invasion of Afghanistan by exploiting the incident of September 11, 2001. They claimed to be fighting against terrorism, yet to this day, there is no document based on the involvement of the Afghan people in the events of September 11. No individual, institution, global organization, or media outlet has had the opportunity or permission to investigate the case of the September 11 events and the invasion of the United States and its strategic partners in Afghanistan. However, the people of Afghanistan are aware that such invasions and military campaigns are due to suppressing the free, Muslim, and anti-foreign occupation people of Afghanistan and looting their mineral and underground resources. In any case, the Afghan people consider the defense of religion, honor, land, freedom, and independence as part of their religious and legal duty. They engage in Jihad, believing that their struggle is just and, according to the promises of the Almighty, victory and triumph will be granted to them. We have witnessed numerous instances of the triumph and victory of the free people of Afghanistan against infidel and invading countries. Now that more than two years have passed, the invading and occupying forces of the United States and its allies have left Afghanistan in a disgraceful defeat. Some diplomats and members of the Senate and Congress of this country accept their defeat against the Mujahideen and the Afghan people. They have repeatedly labeled the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan as baseless and contrary to international norms in the public. However, some powerhungry and delusional individuals shamelessly speak of invading and reoccupying Afghanistan as an ambitious plan. Recently, a report has surfaced in the media suggesting that former U.S. President Donald Trump, in an election rally in Iowa, USA, mentioned that if he wins the 2024 elections, they will regain control of Bagram Air Base. Trump emphasized that this base is strategically located, being an hour away from where China is developing its nuclear missiles. These irresponsible statements made by Trump have triggered strong reactions in Afghanistan. Some social media users have advised Donald Trump to seek psychiatric help, while others have urged him to read world history, especially the history of Afghanistan. Some even mockingly suggested that he is a daydreamer. The spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, Zabihullah Mujahid, also responded to Donald Trump’s statements about regaining control of Bagram Air Base. He mentioned that Trump currently holds no political position, and his remarks are not worthy of discussion. Mujahid reiterated that Afghanistan will not once again become a battleground for regional and global power competitions, and the military presence of any country in Afghanistan is unacceptable. Therefore, the Afghan people understand that America has learned a lesson from Afghanistan and will never return to the country. Trump’s statements are merely electoral rhetoric; otherwise, in the actual political arena, it has fallen short. The Muslim nation of Afghanistan has experienced global arrogance over the past 20 years, and all their efforts were for their interests, weakening Muslims. The clear message from the people of Afghanistan to Trump and his allies is that today’s Afghanistan is not the Afghanistan of 20 years ago. The Afghan people have realized that no outsider sheds tears for the prosperity and stability of Afghanistan unless it is the sincere sons of this land. With the passage of two years and a few months, it has been proven that if Afghans work as they do today, the day is not far off when we will witness steps toward progress, excellence, and self-sufficiency.
