KABUL: Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan said that foreign version of ideology should not imposed on the Afghans, the ministry twitted Sunday. Speaking to Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) in Turkey, the acting minister said that Afghans wanted a government with their own choice, foreign ideologies must not be imposed in forming government as they have failed in the past, according to the ministry’s official twitter. Previous administration, although receiving a huge amount of foreign aids, has not done any infrastructural work that could provide job opportunities for the people. He said that the Islamic Emirate has been attempting to rescue the Afghan economy. “Beside the humanitarian assistance, we need support in infrastructural projects,” he said adding that insecurity in Afghanistan was a threat to the region and the world that would lead a huge number of people seek refuge to foreign countries but now security is ensured countrywide. Pointing to the IEA achievements, Muttaqi said that corruption was reduced, ISIS controlled, security ensured and educational institutions were opened for both boys and girls. He went on as saying that the Islamic Emirate was consisted of an inclusive cabinet with ministers from all ethnicities with 500,000 officials from former administration still involved in work with the government agencies. They are regularly being paid salaries, even those from former administration.
