ANSA sends back 4 low-quality fuel tankers to Uzbekistan

HERAT: The Afghanistan National Standard Authority (ANSA) has sent back four tankers loaded with liquefied gas to Uzbekistan, after assessing them low-quality, a statement from the administration said the other day. “At least 4 low-quality gas tankers had been stopped at the Aqina port of the country’s northern province of Faryab and returned to Uzbekistan for being low-quality,” said the statement. The National Standard Authority (ANSA) has recently taken necessary steps to prevent the import of low-quality oil and gas into the country. Meanwhile, ANSA’s officials said no one would be allowed to import lowquality oil into the country and asked all national businessmen to import quality goods or they will be dealt in accordance with the law, according to the statement. The Afghan National Standard Authority (ANSA) has earlier returned hundreds of tankers filled with low-quality oil in the country’s western ground ports to the neighboring Iran. The Kabul Times
