ANSA returns another 33 low-quality oil tankers to Iran

KABUL: The Afghanistan National Standard Authority (ANSA) returned 33 oil tankers to Iran, after assessing them as low-quality, the administration said in a statement the other day. At least 33 oil tankers had been stopped at the Mill 78 (Shaikh Abu Nasr Farahi) ground port of the country’s southern province of Farah and returned to the neighboring country of Iran for being low-quality, the statement said. A few days ago, the authority returned 33 low-quality oil tankers to Iran. The National Standard Authority has recently taken necessary steps to prevent the import of low-quality oil and gas into the country. Meanwhile, ANSA’s officials said no one would be allowed to import low-quality oil into the country and asked all national businessmen to import quality goods or they would face the law.
