KABUL: Afghan National Standards Authority (ANSA) has returned 4 low-quality oil tankers of gasoline and diesel oil to Iran, a statement from the office said the other day.
“At least, 4 low-quality oil tankers in Islam Qala port of Herat Province, which did not meet the standards, were returned to Iran,” the statement said.
The Afghanistan National Standards Authority has taken serious practical steps to prevent importing low-quality oils into the country, the statement quoted.
ANSA has asked all traders to import quality oils and prevent the import of low-quality fuel, otherwise, they will be dealt with according to the law.
According to the source, the National Standards Authority had previously returned dozens of low-quality oil tankers to the respective countries.
