After decades, full unity, brotherhood strengthened in Afghanistan, Haqqani

KABUL: The Acting Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, addressing the graduation ceremony of graduates of the late Haqqani Noor alQuran Madrasa, said after decades of conflicts complete unity and brotherhood have been strengthened and Afghans are living in a peaceful environment in the country. The ceremony was attended by a number of provincial officials, elders and scholars, the ministry said in a statement the other day. Khalifa Haqqani said that we are following in the footsteps of our fathers and we have built mosques everywhere with the cooperation of businessmen of the country, which has made the country beautiful both religiously and secularly, according to the statement. “The invaders caused a lot of hardship and suffering to Afghans, but today, thanks to Jihad, Afghans are free. Afghans from the north, south, east and west of the country are gathered together and there is unity between all Afghans,” the statement quoted Haqqani as saying. Meanwhile, Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani, the Acting Ministrer of Refugees and Repatriation said that the current system was created with great sacrifices and it is inclusive of Afghans and the justice system. “We should not allow those who make conspiracies against the system, and let the nations and tribes refrain from nationalism and sectarianism,” the statement quoted Haqqani as saying.
