Afghanistan’s current situation and UN biased report

In the fourteenth report of the Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team of the Sanctions Committee of the UN Security Council that has been recently released, there have been some claims and accusations as well as points about Afghanistan’s current situation, the members of the Islamic Emirate and its impacts on peace and security of the world. The accusations reflected in the report, that there are differences and disagreements between the leaders of the Afghan government, Afghanistan has become a safe haven for terrorists, drug trafficking is carried out by the officials of the Islamic Emirate, the monopoly of power, none existence of ethnic groups in the government structure. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan calls the accusations made the fourteenth report of the Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team of the Sanctions Committee of the UN Security Council baseless and obvious hostility with the people of Afghanistan as well as repetition of the baseless propaganda of the past 20- years. The Islamic Emirate spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid in a statement by rejecting the report considered it as biased and far from the reality. “We strongly reject the assessment of this report that the Islamic Emirate is helping the opponents of neighboring and regional countries or using the territory of Afghanistan against other countries, from the content of this report, it seems that either the authors do not have access to the information, or they deliberately distorted the facts, or the source of the information is the fugitive opponents of the Islamic Emirate,” the IEA statement said. The fourteenth report of the Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team of the Sanctions Committee of the UN Security Council is, in fact, a one-sided report and result of increasing pressures of some powerful countries. The report is absolutely irrational and different with what is going on in the country. Overall security situation and stability has improved across Afghanistan, which has a powerful central government formed from real representatives of all tribes. Afghanistan poses no threat to the world and regional countries. Daesh, being funded by some international intelligence agencies, have been almost supressed and continued efforts are underway against the group in the country. Besides, Afghanistan, which has been changed to hub for production of 80 percent drugs and drug-trafficking for some economic and political aims during the 20- year invasion, is now stepping towards a drug-free country. With the IEA takeover, dozens of thousands of drug-addicts have been rounded and transferred to rehabilitation centers for treatment and the process is going on successfully. There is no difference between members of the Islamic Emirate. It is not the first time such reports have been released. Previously, several reports that had made similar charged on members of the Islamic Emirate had been published repeatedly. Fortunately, all plots against the unity of members of the IEA have been spoiled as members of the Islamic Emirate have all pollical capability and are aware of the enemies’ plans. Afghan political experts also believe that the United Nations should only go for their principal duties and responsibilities and equally treat all the countries rather than play a protective role for some countries’ political and economic interests.
