Afghanistan to become self-sufficient in printing confidential gov’t documents: Hanafi

KABUL: A delegation from the Pay-scale and Salaries Regulation Commission headed by the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, visited the facilities of the National Secure Documents Printing Company his office said in a statement Sunday. During the visit, Mawlavi Hanafi said that by using of the company the Islamic Emirate will be able to print all confidential government documents including diplomas, certificates, bank checks, driving licenses and other important documents inside the country, according to the statement. “In order to address the people’s challenges in the printing sector inside the country, the Islamic Emirate is committed to develop the company in various dimensions,” the statement quoted Hanafi as saying. The facility has been built at a cost of 70 million Euros, funded by the governments of Afghanistan and Germany, to print all government high security documents in accordance with international standards.
