“Afghanistan stands with the people and government of Iran”

After reports confirmed the death of the Iranian President Sayyed Ebrahim Raisi and several of the neighboring country’s authorities, including the foreign minister, rumors rose that the Islamic Republic of Iran may face harsh domestic discontent and regional instability. The shocking and heartbreaking incident made hot titles of the world media and went viral on social media confirming the martyrdom of the president and a number of his accompanying delegation, after returning to Iran from a meeting in Azerbaijan. Leaders from other countries, including India, Pakistan, Turkiye, Qatar and Russia sent messages of condolence, describing the incident as shocking, in which Ebrahim Raisi and seven others, including Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, lost their lives. Also, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate expressed his deep condolence over the demise of President Raisi and seven of his country’s authorities in the helicopter crash, assured of Afghanistan’s solidarity with the people and government of Iran. Following the tragic incident, the Islamic Emirate and all Afghans were deeply saddened and shared their sympathy with the brother nation of the Islamic Republic. As the former Iranian Foreign Minister Jawad Zarif stated, some enemies’ intelligence hands may have been behind the tragic incident, as it is clear that the Zionist regime and its backing Western countries have frequently warned the Islamic Republic for its support to the innocent Palestinians, particularly, since the start of the regime’s bombings of the Gaza Strip. During the recent internal chaos and disorder fueled by some malicious groups at home and foreign enemies, the Islamic Republic, under the leadership of the late Raisi and his led wise cabinet, could resist against any plots and struggled to quench the furry of their nation and worked hard to normalize the situation. This is to be mentioned that the Islamic Republic of Iran is not alone in its stance against the common enemy, Afghanistan under the Islamic Emirate and many other friendly nations take the side of the people and government of the neighboring country, if any threat, it faces regionally or internationally, as the two countries have shared religion and culture. Nothing will happen wrong neither internally nor regionally after the demise of the late Iranian President and his companions, as Iran has long enjoyed a devoted nation, powerful system, strong army, police and intelligence forces and can strongly defend its territory and national integrity and will stand against any power if is threatened by any occupying regimes. Afghanistan will continue developing its good relations under the future government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and spare no effort to stand with the neighboring country under the two countries’ accepted laws, as the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate Zabihullah Mujahid recently stated part of his condolence message to the Iranian government and nation.
