KABUL: Another 40 million U.S. dollars, in cash humanitarian assistance, arrived in Kabul on Wednesday and deposited in a private bank, Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB), the country’s central bank confirmed in a statement.
Appreciating the international community for the humanitarian assistance, the statement asked the global fraternity for the aids to be continued through banking sector.
Few weeks ago, Kabul has also received a similar cash aid of up to 40 million U.S. dollars, reaching the total amount to more than one and half a billion U.S. dollars, since the Islamic Emirate takeover of the country in mid-August 2021.
