Afghanistan, Pakistan media representatives urge for close coordination to reflect realities

KABUL: A coordination meeting was held between Afghanistan and Pakistani media representatives here at the Government and Media Information Center (GMIC) in Kabul the other day.
Both sides emphasized on strengthening bilateral coordination to help reflect the truths and realities.
Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Zabihullah Mujahid welcomed the Pakistani media men and said that such visits would help strengthen relations between the two countries’ media and create interaction and cooperation between the two sides’ media as well as provides the ground for reflecting the truths.
Representing others, Salman Jawid and Sayed Waqas of Pakistan said that both countries have commonalities in many fields and there was a need for a coordinated relation between the two countries media.
Some other government and private media representatives from Afghanistan also spoke about the issue and emphasized on the two countries media coordination and relations for reflecting the fact and truths. The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate also promised to send a team of the country’s media persons aimed for the strengthening cooperation level, to Pakistan on an appropriate time.
