Afghanistan common home for all Afghans, Beradar

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of the Islamic Emirate Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar, in an official ceremony inaugurated the construction of a 10 megawatts solar power-producing project in Surobi district of the capital Kabul, his office said in a statement Tues day. The ceremony was attended by a number of government highranking officials including the Acting Energy and Water Minister Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, the statement said. Addressing at the ceremony, Mullah Beradar said that Afghanistan is a common home for all Afghans, and their honor is protected and this is the symbol of their identification, according to the statement. “The Islamic Emirate, unlike the previous governments, has always been committed to work toward the country’s development and the people’s convenience,” the statement quoted Beradar as saying. Beradar added that industry plays the most important role in the development of a country and to have a better industry there is a need for electricity Beradar further said that in order to achieve this goal, the Islamic Emirate has made domestic electricity production one of its priorities and asked investors to invest in the production of electricity inside the country. The deputy PM according to the statement, went on as saying that considering Afghanistan’s need for electricity production, this project may seem small, but it is very important to our country in terms of achieving self-sufficiency in the energy sector.
