Afghan National Judo Team leaves for Uzbekistan to participate in a training camp

KABUL: The country’s National Judo Team left for Uzbekistan to attend a 22-day training camp in that country, the National Olympic Committee said in a statement the other day. The team with a coach is preparing to participate in the international judo competitions, the statement said. This trip has been prepared by the National Judo Federation in cooperation with the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports. The training camp will last for 22 days and will prepare the members of the national team for international judo competitions. The International Judo Competitions are scheduled to be jointly hosted by Turkey and Tajikistan, shortly with the participation of 70 countries of the world. The Kabul Times
