ACB name a strong squad for ODI series against Pakistan

KABUL: Afghanistan Cricket Board announced the squad for 3-match ODI series against Pakistan that will be hosted by Afghanistan in Sri Lanka. The first 2 matches of the series will be held in Hambantota on the 22nd & 24th of August while the 3rd and last match will be held in Colombo on the 26th of August. In a press conference to day, Sunday, 6th of August, the ACB selection committee announced a 16-member strong squad along with 2 reserve players for this series. The Chief selector Asadullah Khan said that as the series of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, this series will also help our national team get fully prepared for the upcoming Asia Cup and World Cup. The squad announced is as the following: Hashmatullah Shahidi (C), Rahmanullah Gurbaz (WK), Ibrahim Zadran, Riaz Hassan, Rahmat Shah, Najib Zadran, M. Nabi, Ikram Alikhil, Rashid Khan, Azmat Omerzai, Abdul Rahman, Mujeeb Rahman, Noor Ahmad, Fazelhaq Farooq, Wafadar Momand, Salim Safi. Samihullah Momand

Reserves players are: Shahidullah Kamal, and Farid Malik.
