On 7th October of the current 2023 year, Al-Qassam, the military branch of the Palestinian Liberation Movement, Hamas, launched an unprecedented attack on Israel by land, sea and air, during which hundreds of Israeli soldiers were killed and up to 300 others were arrested alive. Since the beginning of the occupation of Palestine by Israel, there has been a long history of fighting between the Palestinian freedom fighters and the invaders; But this time the war is very different from other wars and Hamas has been successful with lots of victories. In past wars, the Palestinian side saw heavy casualties, but the number of casualties on the Israeli side was just a few. This time, although the personal and financial losses of innocent Palestinians are also high, thousands of Israeli soldiers have been killed and wounded so far. Another victory of Hamas in this war is that the group carried out the attack in such a way that the world’s advanced intelligence not only failed to prevent it but also did not receive information about it until the end. After the successful attack on Israel by Hamas, the Prime Minister of the Zionist Israeli regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, in order to hide his regime’s defeat and to compensate it, started the blind bombing of Gaza against all international laws. More than 11,000 innocent civilians have been martyred and more than 25,000 injured so far. Hamas achieved numerous strategic goals and objectives in this war, some of which are worth mentioning as follows: 1. The Israeli regime and the United States had planned to force the residents of Gaza to leave the Sinai region of Egypt. To achieve this goal, they have started to put a lot of military pressure on the civilians, but they failed to do so. 2. They also wanted to evacuate the residents of Gaza to the south, but they also failed to achieve this goal. 3. In terms of politics, millions of people around the world particularly in EU member countries have started to protest in support of the Palestinians and against the Zionist regime’s invasion. This has somehow revived the cause of the freedom of Palestine once again. 4. In addition to all kinds of military pressure and suffering many financial and personal losses, the Israeli regime has not been able to free the Israeli citizens captured by Hamas. 5. The Ex-Prime Minister of the Israeli regime, known to international media and experts has clearly said that the regime has not gained any victory over Hamas, except killing and wounding thousands of innocent Palestinians. They have said that targeting the public and civilians’ houses is not benefiting the regime, but it will just add world hatred against the Israeli regime. If the Islamic world and each Muslim individual support the Palestinians in the AlAqsa case and spare no support from the innocent people of Palestine in terms of political, economic and military, we are sure that an independent Palestinian state will be soon established, and its capital will be off course the Jerusalem.
