QALA-I-NAW: At least six people have been martyred and two others wounded as a result of traffic accident in the country’s western province of Badghis, the provincial police office said in a statement the other day. The provincial Police spokesman Sediqullah Sediqi said the accident happened when a vehicle veered off the road and collapsed from a mountain in the Band-i-Qashqa area of the Aab Kamari district, according to the statement. About six people including women and children have been killed and two others injured, said Sediqi, adding the condition of the injured is critical. The Kabul Times
