50 drug addicts rejoin home after treatment in Kunduz

KUNUDZ: A total of 50 drug addicts have rejoined their families after treatment in northern Kunduz province, the provincial police department said in a statement Monday.
“Fifty drug addicts have been handed over to their families, after receiving a three months treatment period in a drug-addict treatment comp in the province,” said the statement received by The Kabul Times.
The related organs of the IEA has pledged to fight and eliminate drugs and collect drug addicts around the country for treatment.
Over the last three months, up to 200 drug addicts have also been rounded up around Kunduz province and treated in cooperation with the provincial public health department.
