KUNDUZ: A total of 377 families have received high cash of up to 700 U.S. dollars in humanitarian aids, in the country’s northern Kunduz province, a local official said Wednesday.
The cash aids were provided by the UNHCR and distributed by the Women for Afghan Women (WAW) institution in coordination with the provincial Department of Refugees and Repatriate, to identify deserved families, Abdul Wali Mohammadi, the director told media.
The aids were distributed in Archi, Aqtash, Imam Sahib and Kunduz provincial center, after precise survey, said the official.
Few weeks ago, The UNHCR also distributed the same cash aids in the neighboring Baghlan province. The Kabul Times
